The data also suggests that remote work arrangements can be as productive as in-office work, challenging traditional assumptions.

Recommendations

Reconsider Remote Work Policies:

Since there’s no significant productivity difference between in-office and remote employees, leaders should re-evaluate mandatory in-office policies. Flexible or hybrid work arrangements could improve employee satisfaction without harming productivity.

Promote Active Cloud Tool Usage:

Employees with higher productivity spend significantly more time in cloud tools. Leaders should ensure employees have the necessary training and resources to effectively use these tools for collaboration and productivity.

Implement EPM:

Consider implementing employee productivity monitoring software to provide insight into how employees work to make better-informed decisions and rely on objective data to drive success.

Embrace Flexible Work Arrangements:

Offer remote or hybrid work options to attract and retain talent.
